Transform your Life in 15 minutes

You’ve already begun by acknowledging you feel out of alignment. Next, I would challenge you to make one small change that is solely for you. For no other reason than you want to do whatever that may be. For me, it was taking time out each morning to move my body. I discovered a love for HIIT workouts and Yoga. Getting into my body and getting to know my body in this way opened the door to so much more. There are many options and opportunities in a day that make the idea to transform your life in 15 minutes a real and reachable goal.

A common obstacle womxn experience is not knowing where to begin to empower themselves. I saw this definition of empowerment and loved it.  Empowerment: the moments you notice your power.Whether single, married, with children or without, we can get swept up in the definitions of roles decided for us by others without our awareness or consent.

How to overcome this interference? Where to begin?

The path to transformation is not always linear

When you’re feeling an overwhelming need for change but can’t see where to begin, the concept to transform your life in 15 minutes might seem oversimplified. I assure you you can and will begin to notice significant change by giving yourself just 15 minutes a day for 30 days. Start small and soon you’ll notice yourself beginning to incorporate more acts of self-love and self-care into your day.

Whether it be moments in the morning or any other time of day that you can find at least 15 minutes to yourself.  Start there and use it to do something that makes you feel peace, balance, harmony, joy, or maybe it’s stillness that accomplishes all of these. Perhaps you find one or more of the following a realistic place to begin:

A mindfulness practice such as meditation or yoga

  • Reading and/or journaling,

  • Exercise (even just going for a walk)

  • Getting outside in nature, into the Sun

  • Spending time with a pet

  • Making a meal for yourself that includes anything you love to eat

I’ve Got 15 Minutes, Now What?

During this time, really be present with the action of what you’re doing. Notice how you feel. Acknowledge if you’re feeling gratitude, appreciation, or another emotion. You’ll find these are ways to tune in. Ways to embody radical self-care, radical self-love. While they may seem small, they can be the gateway to connecting spirit and body. To achieving awareness and oneness with yourself. To empowering yourself, having confidence in your voice, embracing your wisdom, and reclaiming your power.

More than journeying to transform your physical body, rather following the path where spirit and body come into harmony. That isThe Sweet Spot.
